Went to Ocean City, Maryland for the Labor day weekend. Stayed in a vacation rental with Sreeku, Keerthi and Akku. Boardwalks, Roller Dough Pizzas, Funnel Cake, Fire works, Roller Coaster rides, "Train" ride, MerryGoRound etc were the highlights.

Sanibel Islands

 

 

 

Went to Sanibel Islands, Florida in the first week of August. Bailey's Store, Captiva beach, Darling ecological tour, Island Cow restaurant, Jacaranda restaurant were some of the highlights.

Went to Virginia Beach from Dec 20th to Dec 25th. Saw the 18-mile Chesapeake bridge/tunnel, Virginia Aquarium, Christmas Lights show, Norfolk etc.

Boston Trip

Went to Boston the the July 4th Weekend. Visited the Boston Harbor, USS Constitution, Quincy Market, Harvard University etc.

Miami and Puerto Rico Vacation

We went to Miami (12/01 - 12/04) and Puerto Rico(12/05 - 12/08) to get away from the Cold Weather of the North East. Here are some pictures.

Grand Canyon Trip

Went to Grand Canyon and San Diego, just before the big India trip in Sep 2006. More photos at picassa photos.

India Trip

With Amma, Vipin, Babu, Achcha and Malar in Coimbatore.

Spent two months in India. Visited Chennai, Palakkad, VandiththavaLam, Nagercoil- the NSK home, Kanyakumari and of course Coimbatore. Check out the photos at India Trip 2006.

Houston(NASA), SanAntonio(Sea World) Trip

Fortworth Airshow

Siva, Malar and Jaga spent the Weekend of May 13th at the Airshow in Fortworth. The main attraction was the Blue Angels Fighter planes from the US Navy. We had a mini picnic session in the parking lot of the Rigdmar Mall.

WestCoastTrip - Day1 Las Vegas

It was a very nice 9 day trip!!
Day 1: Flight to LA in the morning. We picked up the Mazda 6 rental car and headed straight to.... an Indian Restaurant (ofcourse Siva is always behind Indian restaurants wherever we go). This car had the GPS navigation system and it was pretty cool :) Can never be lost with the GPS around.
We started to Las Vegas - it was a 4 and half hour drive along desert roads... singing songs (latest kit song which was sung atleast 50 times during the trip was our beloved Surya's 'Oru maalai iLa veyil neram' from Ghajini).
Las Vegas is this magical city which never sleeps. Lots of fun things to do (X rated and non-x rated). Unfortunately we settled down for a non x-rated Variety entertainment show for the evening. But it was a very good show - like we used to watch in TV - jugglery, acrobatics, magic show, all-in-one.
After the show we headed to the Casinos and played Roulette for a while - invested 40 bucks... went up and then came down to 40. No loss no gain (I hate it - we should either win or lose - else there is no fun ;)). I pestered Siva to get to the Casino the next day before leaving - ofcourse.
